changes? its all utter ...
seems to be a lotta things not worth talking about on here. The wrong people read everything, and if the right people read it, the response is just to limited for me. I guess person to person contact has always been something that felt right to me, however since i was 10 i've been online, talked to people online...made friends, started relationships..just the same as "real" time. But even tho we think its the same, or want it to be the same, its really just wishful thinking. Because we know, it cant work without the "real" seeable (not a word) touchalbe day to day life, and I'm not sayin Net relationships dont work, I've seem them work, result in marriages that are still going strong years later, but those people evolved their relationships through visits and person to person time, not peer to peer conncetions. The internet connected them, they kept the connenction alive by being consistant.
theres to many variables. Trust the obvious issue isnt so obvious although you get the idea that you can't trust people online, how do you know that they arn't lying? You trust them because you know them. a few weeks of talking to someone is easy to fool, a year years? and they get to caught up in their own web of lies. So I trust the people who seem genuine until they give me a reason not to. Do you trust someone you've just met? or someone you've know since grade school? its the same thing, people can be honest, be can decieve, the net does not make someone a liar, their own self integrity does. So if you sit here, and say. I'll talk to you, but i dont wanna know you, why do you even bother? I can tell you things, but i dont trust you because your from the "online" part of life? what the hell is that? double standard? nah probably just a fear of what they dont know, or what they've only heard about. I've met 9 people from the "net" and each one is now and everyday person. Expect One person, and that isnt because of a bad experince its just because I've out grown him, just as he has out lived me. :) so much can change in so little time, that it sometimes amazes me.
